Hello Paul and Squash Colleagues,
Here is info on the $10,000 Nov 11-15, WDSA 2009 Indian Summer Tournament. Last year, I had a somewhat smaller overall draw than I expected, but those who came can attest we had a wonderful time. This year, to encourage more participation, I have instituted a few changes, which may make a world of difference for those who thought about playing, but did not.
1. Some of the Pro, as well as Pro/Am matches will likely be played at the Minneapolis Club.
2. Spectating is FREE this year, though Sponsors will have reserved seats.
3. I negotiated with US Squash to waive the $15 waiver for the 2009 Indian Summer. This is big news, because, though the $75 Entry Fee is steep, people won't have to pay additional fees to play.
4. There will be both an "A" as well as "B" Pro/Am.
5. I have added a 2.5 and,40+, 50+ 60+ singles draws, all sanctioned.
Please distribute the above info as you see fit, and do plan ahead so that you can be a part of the fun this year.
