Congratulations are in order for the 2009 MN State Doubles Squash Champions. They are:
Frank Fairman and John Lonnquist - A Division
Matt Nelson and John Hinck - C Division
Bill Whitaker and Don Thaemert - 50+ Division
We had 37 players in this tournament with 3 playing in two draws. For the A finals we had 20 -30 "fans" in the gallery watching a well played match between the champions and runners up, Bob Massey and David Schall. Though the final result was 3-0, the rallies were long and the games close. We spectators got our monies worth :-)
A big thanks to Bob Massey and the Minneapolis Club for running a great event! We also want to recognize those of you who took time out to referee some of the matches. The MSA and MN Squash in general continues to need this type of involvement by its members and we appreciate it!

Come on down to the Minneapolis Club to watch some fun-filled and skilled Doubles Squash starting this Thursday. The A Doubles Final will be at 1:15 on Sunday April 26th. A pizza social will take place on Friday evening. All scheduled matches are listed on the attached spreadsheet - (Remember, you must be logged on with a user name and password to see the attachments).
