MSA Sponsored One-day Event

TOURNAMENT LOCATION: University of Minnesota RecreationCenter (http://www.recsports.umn.edu/index.html), 1900 University Ave SE.  MPLS, MN 55455.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT: TeamCompetition (3-4 persons/team). Depending on the number of participants,the number of teams will be determined. At a minimum you will play 3 -3 game sets.

TOURNAMENT SCORING: A mixbetween the new Point-a-Rally (PAR) 11 scoring and the traditional hand-into 9 scoring.  We are seeking your feedback on the new US Squash authorizedscoring method

AWARDS: Awards willbe given to the Champions and runner ups.

ENTRY INFO: You must register on-line at www.mnsquash.org. Just click on MSA sponsored One Day events on the right-side of the websiteunder the heading upcoming events. Note: On-line registration requiresyou have an account on the MSA website, it is easy to do (click on the link Create new account on the lower left hand corner of the home page and follow the instruction). Once you login, click on the link "MSA Sponsored One-Day Event" on the righthand side and follow the instruction. Be sure to include your skilllevel and any scheduling conflicts you may have.

DEADLINE: Registrationis due by Tuesday January 6, 2009 at 6 pm.  Brackets will be e-mailedto participants no later than 5:00 PM on Thursday, January 8, 2009.

ENTRY FEES:

$10 for MSA members

$15 for non-MSA members

**Payment should be made through the PayPal link on the website** - Participant must registered with PayPal in order to use the service. Click on the MSA payments via PayPal link on the left hand side of the web site.

Snacks and refreshments provided by the MSA. Protectivelenses are mandatory on the court, no exception.
